A major disaster will hit Malaysia

The author does not intend to raise any concerns in the minds of readers, but we should be rational in assessing what is happening in the country over the decades. Not consider the emotional, personal interest or influence of political parties supported. For Muslims, they claimed back to the Qur'an and Sunnah, if there are any disagreements or disputes.

We are all aware that the country adopt a parliamentary democracy. Thus, competition between political parties is inevitable. Between government and the opposition. In this competitive context, both parties compete for public support in elections. The party gained control of parliament will be the government.

Unfortunately, what happened in Malaysia when the competition is not just occur. The ruling party is simply using all the machinery of government to favor his party. All of the major national media is fully controlled by them. No more media freedom. Fully used by governments to influence the minds of the people with all the lies and slander.

Much worse if people continue to blindly accept all the news published without making any assessment of whether true or not.

As citizens, we should be able to assess the truth all the information from the media. Not accept it for granted.

Let's talk about things that involve the entire people of this country. That is economic. Maybe we think the economy is always a good position as publicized in the mainstream media every day.

The question is, are we can't think rationally about the true state of our economy? No need to think much in this regard, adequate in the context of our own household economy. If our household income of RM5, 000 per month (husband and wife), mean monthly budget should be made to avoid budget deficits. For example, 3 children (450), kitchen (400), car (RM1, 000), home loans (RM700), bill (RM250), savings (RM1, 000), takaful (RM200). Balance in the hands of RM1, 000.

And there is no difference in managing the Malaysian economy.

We realize that Malaysia is among the richest countries in the Third World. Studies made by the World Bank. Unfortunately, the national debt rose to RM362.69 billion in 2010. While household debt amounted to RM577 billion. During the years 2000 to 2008, the 'hot money' is taken out of the country at RM877 billion. And most surprisingly, when the Auditor General revealed a total of RM26 billion were lost in 2010 due to corruption.

The former editor of the Asian Wall Street Journal, Barry Wain revealed that Malaysia suffered a loss of RM100 billion in the Mahathir era. Then, RM250 billion lost in the hand of PM Pak Lah.

Now Najib times. We do not know how many hundred billion is to be dissipated. When he became Minister of Defense and Deputy PM, nearly RM900 million of taxpayers' money lost through the agreement to purchase Sukhoi and Scorpene submarines. There was no investigation by the MACC, while dozens of police reports have been made.

Is still not enough with all the disclosures made? Do we only believe after the country declared bankrupt?

Writers are not experts in economics, but it is not difficult to assess the financial position of the country today. Because history proves anything. Any corrupt country would go bankrupt if no reforms are made.

Let us look back at the economic crisis in 1997/98. How Ringgit Malaysia are so easily fell sharply against the U.S. dollar? From RM2.50 to RM3.80 plummeted. While Singapore and Brunei dollar remains strong. This situation shows just how fragile the economy. The reason? Rampant corruption, wasteful spending by the various mega projects and the results of hundreds of billions of money just disappeared. Consequently, loss of competitiveness, increasing debt and the country's reserves fell.

Then Mahathir and UMNO 'bark like a mad dog' to blame George Soros. People also believe that the barking. Pity the Malay UMNO. Stupid is one thing, and then cheated by their own leaders.

Finally, think rationally. We all have children who will inherit this country. Are we willing to let them live in a country that was bankrupt due to the error we choose a leader?

Believe me, a major disaster will hit Malaysia after the 13th General Election if UMNO continues to be given the mandate.

Thanks.
