Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem received some Latin American countries' Ambassadors to Lebanon, in addition to the Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, in presence of Hizbullah international relations official Ammar Moussawi. During the meeting, both sides discussed latest developments on the local, regional, and international levels.
His Eminence Sheikh Qassem said, "We share with Latin American countries our resistance against arrogant domination, and our will to achieve the independency of our countries, and the freedom in choice of our people".
"Experience has proved that the people, with their will and resistance, should win against the ruling tyrants and occupying rulers no matter how long the time was. Firmness and sacrifices are enough to achieve victory", Sheikh Qassem added.
He added that "Israel" is an aggressive entity that does not only target Palestine, but also the control over the entire region on the political, economic, and cultural levels, through military threatening.
In this context, Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General affirmed there is no other way to confront the enemy but through resistance, which has proved its success and power.
"The resistance was who led to the withdrawal of "Israel" in 2000 and not the international resolution, and it was who defeated "Israel" in July 2006 and not the international intervention", His Eminence pointed out.
He further noted that until now, if it weren't for the resistance's readiness to confront any aggression, Lebanon wouldn't have been protected from any aggression within the past four years.
On the same level, he stated that Lebanon's role has been enhanced with its people, army, and resistance equation, which irritates the US and worries "Israel".
His Eminence affirmed that the aforementioned increases the commitment to the national equation, proving its efficiency.
On another hand, Sheikh Naim Qassem added that PM Najib Mikati has been designated for forming the new government in a constitutional way, and with the choice of the parliamentary majority.
He stated that the national partnership was proposed to the March 14 team, but they refused, adding that the political life will not end here. Sheikh Qassem clarified it is the Lebanese people's right to live an experience of a government which refuses corruption, bribery, and personal interests achieved on the people's expenses.
